David Merrill Markson (Albany, New York, 1927ko abenduaren 20a – New York, 2010eko ekainaren 4a) estatubatuar eleberrigile postmodernista izan zen.
Judutar jatorrikoa, New Yorkeko estatuan jaio zen eta Union Collegen eta Columbiako Unibertsitatean hezi zen. Kazetari eta liburu-editore gisa hasi zuen bere ibilbidea, eta Columbia Universityn, Long Island Universityn eta The New Schoolen eman zituen eskolak.
