Geografia
Hiria 11º51' I eta 86º14' M kokatzen da. Halaber, itsas mailatik 500 metrotara kokatzen da.
Hiri honetan dago San Sebastian basilika. 1891n, Basilika eraikitzeko lanak hasi ziren arren, ez zen 1939a arte ireki.
Hiri honetan jaio zen Diriangen Soccer Club futbol talde profesionala. Anekdota moduan, aipa daiteke Costa Ricako presidentea izan zena, Rafael Angel Calderon Fournier, bertan jaio zela, zoriz, 1949an. Bere aita Rafael Angel Calderon Guardia, Costa Ricako presidente izandakoa ere bai, Diriamban zegoen erbesteratuta.
