Toponimia
Hainbat modutan idatzita aurkitzen da agiri zaharretan; Eschidia, Esquibi, Esquidi, Esquini, Hisquidia, Ischidia.
Kokapena
Gaur egungo Ekora udalerriaren iparraldean kokaturik zegoen. Eremu hark Eskide toponimoa mantendu du.
Historia
1140 urteko agiri batean aipatzen da aurreneko aldiz. San Millán de Esquide monastegia izan zen bertan. Guardiaren menpe zegoen. 1670 urtean izurriak jota bertan behera gelditu zen herria. [1].
