Estepa pontikoa ekogune paleartikoko ekoeskualde bat da, WWFk definitua eta Ekialdeko Europatik Itsaso Beltzaren iparraldetik eta Kaukasotik Errusia eta Kazakhstan arteko mugaraino hedatzen dena, Ural mendien hegoaldean.
Deskribapena
Bulgariako ipar-ekialdeko muturrean, Errumaniako hego-ekialdean, Moldavia ekialdean, Ukraina hegoaldean, europar Errusiaren hegoaldea eta Kazakhstan ipar-mendebaldearen artean 994.000 kilometro karratuko hedadura hartzen duen larrezko ekoeskualde bat da.
