Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, S.A.U. munizioa eta lehergaiak fabrikatzen dituen enpresa espainiarra da. Gaur egun Rheinmetall alemaniar enpresaren filiala da. Era guztietako jaurtigaiak, espoletak, karkasak eta bonbak egiten ditu. Turkiako eta Israelgo armadetara esportatzen ditu bere produktuak, Espainiako Indar Armatuen hornitzaileetako bat izateaz gain.
Historia
Unión Española de Explosivosek 1946an «Explosivos Alaveses» (Expal) filiala sortu zen, lehergailu militarrak ekoizteko. Hasiera batean Langraiz Okan izan zuen egoitza, eta hortik datorkio «Explosivos Alaveses» izena. 2004ko apirilean arabar lantegia itxi zuen.[1] 1970etik aurrera, sozietateak Explosivos Río Tinto (ERT) taldearen filial bilakatu zuen.
2006an, enpresak beste etapa bati ekin zion, eta Francisco Torrente izendatu zuen presidente, Defentsa Politikako idazkari nagusiaren kargu-uztea aurkeztu ondoren. Expal Maxam korporazioko kide izatera pasa zen, eta bere Defentsa dibisioaren marka izan zen.[2] 2010az geroztik, enpresak Murtziako Javalí Viejo auzoan Santa Barbara Bolbora-Fabrika zaharra ere hartu zuen bere gain.
2022ko azaroan, Maxamek Expal Systems saldu zion Rheinmetall talde alemaniarrari.[3] Urtebete geroago, 2023ko urrian, enpresak «Rheinmetall Expal Munitions» izena jarri zion.[4]
