Fanuidhol
Fanuidhol, Tolkienen legendarium ospetsuko mendi bat da. Moriako mendi garaietako hirugarrena da, Caradhras mendiaren ekialdean dagoena. Bere magalak, hegoekialderantz hedatzen diren eta Errekazto Itzaltsuko Harana edo Azanulbizar ixten duen Hithaeglirren besoa eratzen dute.
Etimologia
Fanuidhol Grisa deitzen dute elfoek, sindarinezko adjektibo den fanui "lainotsua", SPAN erroa eta dôl izenak, "burua", osatutakoa, hedapenez, mendia. Nanoek, Bundushathûr deitzen zuten, elfoeraz bezala, Mendi Lainotsua edo Lainoen Burua esan nahi duena, Bund (burua), B-N-D erradikalak, _u_ "-rena" perpausa eta shathur "lainoak" hitzez osatua, balizko erradikala Sh-Th-R.
