Ezagunena zizarea da (Lumbricina subordena). Hala ere phylum ezberdinetan aurki daitezke harrak, izaera parafiletikoa dutelako.
Zoologian Carl von Linnek jarri zien izena, Vermiformes moduan sailkatuz. Izena latinezko vermisetik dator. Askotan ere Helminto erabiltzen da, grezierazko ἕλμινθος hitzetik. Hitz hau har parasitoetarako erabili ohi da.
Etimologia
