Helofitoak (grezieratik: ἑλώς, helos, "padura", eta φυτόν, phyton, "landarea") edo limnofitoak paduretan bizi diren eta sasoi hezean sustraiak, begiak eta hostoen zati batzuk ur azpian dituzten landareak dira. Enborra edo zurtoina, hostoak eta loreak ur gainean izan ohi dituzte normalean.
Landare horiek aintziretan eta skonera gutxiko uretan bizi dira. Talde horretakoak dira Typha eta Phragmites generoko landareak.
