Hemiaminal

Kimika organikoan, hemiaminala talde funtzional bat edo konposatu kimiko mota bat da, non hidroxilo talde bat eta amina bat dauden karbono atomo berari lotuta: -C(OH)(NR2)-. R hidrogenoa edo alkilo-talde bat izan daiteke. Hemiaminalak bitartekariak dira aminetatik eta karboniloetatik iminak sintetizatzeko bidean[1].

Adibideak

Hemiaminalak aldehido edo zetona baten eta amina baten erreakzioaren lehen urratsa izaten dira. Esaterako, karbazolaren amina sekundarioaren eta formaldehidoaren erreakzioak hemiaminal bat sortzen du[2].

Saxitoxinaren sintesi asimetriko totalaren urrats giltzarria da hemiaminala sortzea[3].
