Hidrozooak (Hydrozoa) knidarioen filumeko animalia txiki harrapariak dira, bakarka edo koloniak eratuz eta gehienetan ur gazian bizi direnak.
Bi aldi izaten dituzte bizitzan, polipo-aldia eta marmoka-aldia. Barrua ez dute beste knidarioetan bezala ziskuetan banatua, zisku bakarra baitute. Marmoka-aldian eszifozooak baino askoz txikiagoak dira.
