Hongan-ji (japonieraz: 本願寺), zentsu orokorrean, Japoniako historian zehar izandako tenplu budisten saila da. Zentsu zorrotzean, berriz, Kyoton dauden bi tenplu dira, behin loturik zeudenak. UNESCOk 1994an Gizateriaren Ondare izendatu zituen, Aintzinako Kyotoko monumentu historikoak izeneko multzoaren barnean.
1321ean ezarri zuten Hongan-ji tenplua, non Shinran monjea, Jōdo Shinshū sektaren sortzailea, lurperatuta zegoen.
