INTA-255 Espainiako INTAk garatutako lehen suziri-zunda izan zen, Bristol Aerojet konpainia ingelesaren laguntzarekin, 1966 eta 1969 artean..INTA-255 15 kg-tik 150 km-ra arteko karga igotzeko gai zen, eta Mach 6,4 abiadura maximora irits zitekeen.[1][2][3]
Hiru INTA–255 jaurti ziren, denak El Arenosilloko Esperimentazio Zentrotik, eta hirurak arrakastaz atera ziren. Lehenengoa, kohete azeleratzaileak probatzeko maketa bat baino eez zena, 1969ko uztailaren 19an jaurti zen; bigarrena, 1969ko abenduaren 20an prototipo bat; eta hirugarrena eta azkena, bigarren prototipoa, 1970eko abenduaren 22an. INTA-255 baliagarria izan zen ondoren etorri zen INTA-300 anbizio handiagoko suziria sortzeko.[4]
