Inia zetazeoen ordenako platanistidoen familiako uretako ugaztun generoa da. 2-3 m luze izaten da. Moko-egiturako mutur luze zurdaduna izaten du; azala gris iluna da bizkarrean, eta arrosa-kolorekoa sabelaldean. Orinoko eta Amazonas ibaietan bizi da, eta taldean ibiltzen da.
