Jartxa

Jartxen egileak, batez ere, aristokraziako emakumezkoak izan omen ziren. (Irudiaren egilea: Jean-Léon Gérôme)

Jarcha edo jartxa (arabieraz, خرجة jarŷa, "amaiera" edo "irteera") Hispania musulmanean sortutako herri-lirika mota bat da, moaxaja izeneko lirika lanen azken zatiari, erromantzez zegoen zatiari, deitzen zitzaion jarcha.

Erdi Aroan, X-XI. mendeetan dokumentatu dira. Garai hartako dialekto erromantze-arabiarrean sortu ziren, bere garaian andalusiar askok erabiltzen zuten hizkera.

Uste da poeta arabiarrek eta poeta juduek sortuak zirela, baina, batez ere, aristokraziako emakumezkoek sortu zituztela uste da. Iberiar penintsulan topatu diren erromantzez idatzitako poemarik zaharrenak dira jarchak.
