Jean Ruth Ritchie (1922ko abenduak 8 – 2015eko ekainak 1) folk abeslari estatubatuarra, abesti egilea eta Appalacheetako dultzimer jolea izan zen,[1] "Mother of Folk" (‘Folkaren Ama’) deitua.[2] Gaztetan ehundaka abesti tradizional ikasi zituen, bere familian eta komunitatean, belarriz.
