Kalangera[1][2] (Ikalanga) hegoaldeko bantu hizkuntzetako bat da, Zimbabwen eta Botswanan hitz egiten dutena. Kalangen hizkuntza da eta 338.000 hiztun inguru ditu.[3]
Kalangerak aldaera ezberdinak ditu Botswanan eta Zimbabwen, non ortografia ezberdinak ere erabiltzen dituzten. Historikoki, ekialdekoari kalangera eta mendebaldekoari lilima (tjililima) zioten eta bazeuden egun desagerturik dauden aldaera batzuk: Nyai (Rozvi), Lemba (Remba), Lembethu (Rembethu), Twamamba (Xwamamba), Pfumbi, Jaunda (Jawunda, Jahunda) eta †Romwe, †Peri, †Talahundra (Talaunda).[4]
