Kretona
Kretona edo karnazuria lihozko edo kotoizko oihal sendo eta zuria da jatorriz, batez ere tapizatzeko erabiltzen dena[1].
Euskal Herrian, Villabonako Subijana y Compañía ehungileak ekoiztu izan zuen 19. eta 20. mendeetan[2].
Etimologia
Hitzak Frantziako iparraldeko ehungintzan du jatorria, dirudienez, baina etimologia desberdinak proposatu dira
- Paul Creton ehungilearengandik agian, Vimoutiersekoa zen (Normandia Beherea), eta ehungintzan oso herro aktiboa izan zen XVII. eta XVIII. mendeetan[3].
- Creton herrian (gaur egun Buis-sur-Danville)[5] non 1939an azken ehungailua itxi zen.
