Liberec (alemanez: Reichenberg) Txekiar Errepublikako iparraldean kokatutako hiria da. Mendebaldeko Neisseren ertzean dago, Jizera eta Ještěd-Kozákov mendiek inguratua. Liberec eskualdeko zentro administratiboa da. 2012an Txekiako bosgarren hiririk handiena zen, 102.113 biztanlerekin[1].
Flandriar eta alemaniar etorkinek fundatu zuten hiria XIII. mendean. XVI. mendetik aurrera ehungintza gune handia izan zen. Hori dela eta, Bohemiako Manchester izena eman zitzaion. Bigarren Mundu Gerraren ondoren, alemaniar biztanleria egotzia izan zen[2].
