Libournaiseko ardoa Bordeleko ardoaren eskualde bat da. Mahasti zabal hori hegoaldean Dordoinak mugatzen du, ekialdean eta iparraldean Gironda departamenduaren mugek, mendebaldean Islek.
Eskualde honek ardo beltzak ekoizten ditu nagusiki, eta ospe handiko mahatsondo klasifikatu ugari eta kontsumitzailearentzat eskuragarriagoak diren Château-ak eta upategiak biltzen ditu.
Historia
Libourneko portua, Bordelekoarekin lehiatu gabe, ardoak kargatzeko tokia izan zen 1270ean Libourne hiria sortu zenetik: bastide bat Ingalaterrako Eduardo I.ak sortu zuen, gabarratik hara datozen upelekin itsas zabaleko ontzien zama babesteko, Dordoina eta Isle jaitsiz.[1]
