Limavady (irlanderaz: Léim a' Mhadaidh) Ipar Irlandako Derry konderriko hirugarren herria da. 12.135 biztanle ditu eta Derrytik 27 kilometro ekialdera dago.
Etimologia
Irlanderazko Léim a' Mhadaidh izenak "txakurraren jauzia" esan nahi du. Kondairak dioenez buruzagiaren txakurrak ibaia salto batez gurutzatzean etsaien eraso sorpresa zapuztu zuen.
Historia
Herria noiz sortu zen ez badakigu ere zeltiar jatorria duela argia da. O'Cahan klana zen bertan nagusi eta familiaren marka herrian zehar toki ugaritan aurkitzen da.
