MD5
MD5 (Message-Digest Algorithm 5 ingelesez, 5 mezuaren laburpen algoritmoa), kriptografia arloan 128 bitetako oso erabilitako laburketa algoritmoa da.
Ronald Rivest-ek 1991. urtean diseinatu zuen MD5 kodea. 2004. urtean segurtasun zulo batzuk aurkitu ziren, eta ondorioz beste algoritmo baten ordez ordezkatua izatea litekeena da.
Aplikazioak
Internetetik jaitsitako fitxategi bat ez dela aldatu ziurtatzeko erabiltzen da gehien bat MD5 laburpenak.
