Mainichi Shimbun (japonieraz: 毎日新聞) japoniar egunkaria da, herrialdeko nagusienetariko bat dena.[1] 1872an sortua, kontinententeko zaharrenetariko bat da. Eguneko edizioa 3,94 milioi alekoa eta arratsaldekoa 1,61 mililoi alekoa (2005) izanda, herrialdeko egunkaririk zabalduenetariko bat da (lehendabizikoa Yomiuri Shimbun da). The Mainichi Newspapers Co., Ltd (japonieraz: 株式会社毎日新聞社, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Mainichi Shinbunsha) enpresak argitaratua, Pulitzer Sari bat eskuratu duen japoniar enpresa bakarra da.
Egunkariak ideologikoki «liberal eta ezkertiar»tzat du bere burua, lehiakideek azaldutako beste korronte ideologiko batzuen aldean.
