Getariako bi hondartzetako bat da hau, ekialdera geratzen dena, Zarauzko bidean. Itsasoko olatuetatik babesean geratzen da, eta familian egoteko hondartza izan ohi da ondorioz; surf egin nahi dutenek gertu dute Getariako beste hondartza, Gaztetapekoa.
