Manolo García kubatar pilotaria izan zen, aurrelari postuan aritzen zena.[1]
Bere garai hoberena 1947ko hasieran izan zen. Pilotari oso maitea izan zen bere garaian bi arrazoi handigatik, dena usten zuelako frontoian eta beti apostatzeko momentuan oso ondo egiten zuen eta jendea dirua irabazten zuen.[1]
Nahiz eta maitatua izan, ez zen oso ezaguna, bere abizena jartzea erabaki zuelako txapelketak egiterako momentuan. Garai hartan, García, Fernandez, López edo Alvarez bazen pilotariaren abizena jendeak ez zuen pilotari hori baloratzen, baina abizena Garitaolarria edo Arrezabalaga izango balitz askotz famatuagoa eta baloratuagoa bazinen.[1]
Nahiz eta hori gertatu hain zen maitatua bere abizena oso ikonikoa bihurtu zela garai hartan.[1]
