Microcebus arnholdi Microcebus generoko lemur espezie bat da, Madagaskarreko endemikoa. Holotipoa 2005eko azaroaren 27an jaso zen lehen aldiz, eta 2008an deskribatu zen lehen aldiz. Ikerketen arabera, Microcebus sambiranensis espeziearekiko ezberdina da genetikoki.
Tamaina ertaineko lemuriformea da, 50 g inguru pisatzen du, 3,2 cm luze da eta 12,9 cm buztan du. Madagaskarreko iparraldeko bi erreserbatan aurki daitezke.
Etimologia
Arnholdi izena New Yorkeko Henry Arnhold-en omenez aukeratu zuten.[1]
Anatomia eta fisiologia
M. arnholdik 50 g inguru pisatzen du, baina beste lemureek bezala, pisua aldatu egiten da urtaroaren arabera. Holotipoak 71 g pisatzen zuen, 8,1 cm-ko luzerarekin eta 12,9 cm-ko isats-luzerarekin.[1]
Bizkar-ilajea marroi iluna, gorria eta grisa da, eta isatsaren oinarrian zerrenda dortsal ertaina du, marroi iluna. Sabelaldea zuri-kremazkoa da, kolore grisekoa. Burua gorria da, gune marroi ilunak ditu muturrean eta begien inguruan.[1]
