Neo pop

Neo pop (Pop berria gisa ere ezaguna) 1980ko eta 1990eko hamarkadako arte mugimendu postmodernoa da. Nolabait aurreko bi hamarkadetan eman zen Pop artearekin lotu izan da baina Neo pop urrunago joan zen material berriei eta artearen aldaketei esker. Orokorrean, zentzu erreibindikatiboa ere galdu egin zen.[1]

XX. mendearen erdialdeko mugimenduaren estetika eta ideien berpiztea bezala definitzen da, Pop artearen ezaugarriak eta marketinarekiko interesaren ezaugarriak hartu baitzuen. Neo pop artista guztiek amankomunean dute komikiaren ikonografia, marrazki bizidunak, masa-komunikabideak edo publizitate-iragarkiak beren gain hartzea.
