OpenVPN SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) softwarean oinarritutako VPN (Virtual Private Network) soluzio bat da. OpenVPN puntutik punturako konexioa erabiltzeko aukera eskeintzen du, zerbitzarira urrunetik konektaturiko erabiltzaileen egiaztapen hierarkikoa ahalbidetzen duena. Wi-Fi (hari gabeko teknologiak IEEE 802.11) baliatzeko oso aukera interesgarria da, eta konfigurazio aukera anitzak eskeintzen ditu, besteak beste zamaren orekatzea. Kode askeko GNU General Public License lizentziapean argitaraturik dago.
