Orbita-plano
Objektu batek beste baten inguruan orbitatzen duen orbita-plano edo plano orbitala orbita dagoen plano geometrikoa da. Nahikoa dira espazioan hiru puntu orbita-planoa zehazteko: objekturik astunenaren zentroa, bigarren objektuaren zentroa (orbitatzen duen objektua) eta azken objektu horren zentroa, denbora bat igaro ondoren.[1]
Definizioz, planeta batek eguzki-sisteman duen inklinazioa bere plano orbitalaren eta Lurraren orbita-planoaren arteko angelua da. Beste kasu batzuetan, beste planeta baten inguruan orbitan dagoen satelite bat adibidez, komenigarria da satelitearen makurdura orbitala definitzea, planoaren orbita-planoaren eta planetaren Ekuatorearen arteko angelu gisa.
