Patan (devanagariz पाटन, nepaleraz यल Yala), ofizialki Lalitpur (लालितपुर) Nepalgo laugarren hiria da 183.310 biztanlerekin (2006). Katmanduren hegoaldean dago, Bagmati ibaiak hiri biak banatzen dituelarik.
Historia
Uste denez Kyrat dinastia iritsi zen inguru honetara k.a. III mendean eta k.o 299 urtean sortu omen zuen Lalitpur Veer Deva erregeak. Licchavi dinastiak VI mendean hiria handitu zuen eta zabalkunde handiagoa izan zuen ertaroan Malla dinastiako erregeen eskutik.
Monumentuak
Patanek duen tokirik ikusgarriena Patan Durbar plaza da, UNESCOk Gizateriaren ondare izendaturikoa. Newari estiloko 19 tenplu daude Durbarrean. Garai bateko agintarien palazioak dira.
Durbarraren inguruko kaleetan badaude tenplu gehiago ere, garrantzitsuena Kumbeshwor tenplua da. Bost teilatutako tenplu bakanetako bat da eta 1391an eraikia izan zen.
