Petrolio-eterra —bentzina izenez ere ezaguna— petrolioaren destilazio zatikatuaz ekoizten den hidrokarburo-nahaste lurrunkor eta sukoia da. Destilazio-tenperatura 40 eta 65 °C bitartean dagoenean biltzen den frakzioa da. Ez du konposizio finkorik, eta batez ere pentanoz eta hexanoz osatua dago. Eter gisa izendatzen bada ere, izaera kimikoaren ikuspegitik ez da eterra[1].
Petrolio-eterra disolbatzaile gisa usatzen da. Ukimen-dermatitisa sor dezake. Ez da bereziki toxikoa baina gehiegizko arnasketak arazoak eragin ditzake nerbio-sisteman hala nola nausea, nekea eta buruko minak[2].
