Plakodermoak (Placodermi, antzinako grezieraz: πλάξ, xafla eta δέρμα, azala) iraungitako klase bateko arrainak dira. Lehenbiziko gnatostomatuak, hots, lehenbiziko ornodun barailadunak izan ziren. Devoniarrean bizi izan ziren, orain 395-345 miloi urte. Klase honetako bi arrain-espeziek bakarrik iraun zuten Karboniferora arte. Burua hezurrezko xafla sendoz babestua zuten. Gorputzaren gainerako aldeetan ezkatarik ere ez zuten. 3,5 m luze baziren arren, neurri txikikoak, 6-40 cm bitartekoak ziren gehienak.
