Powys Fadog edo Powys Beherea Powysko Erresumaren iparraldeko aldearen izena izan zen, 1160an Madog ap Maredudden heriotzaren ondoren sorturikoa. Erresuma Galesko Legediaren arabera banatu zen lehengusuaren artean, Powys Wenwynwyn jaso zuena eta semea zen Gruffydd Maelor I.ak iparraldea jaso zuen.
Madog I ap Gruffydd iritsi zenean 1191an boterera Powys Fadog izatera igaro zen. Errege honek 1236ra arte iraun zuen aulkian. 1215an Gwyneddeko erregea zen Llywelyn ab Iorwethekin akordioa sinatu zuen Ingalaterrako Erresumaren aurka jotzeko. 1267an Powys Fadog Llywelyn ap Gruffydden menpeko bilakatu zen eta, beraz, Galesko Printzerriaren esku.
