Puerto Toro Txileko Navarino uhartearen ekialdeko kostaldeko herrixka da. Puerto Toro 1892. urtean Punta Arenaseko Señoret gobernadoreak sortu zuen Suaren Lurraldeko urre sukarraren garaian.[1][2]
Cabo de Hornos komunan dago, Magallanes eta Txileko Antartika (XII) eskualdeko La Antártica Chilena probintzian. Antartikako ikerketa-estazioak kanpoan utzita, Puerto Toro hegoalderagoen dagoen muduko herri etengabe habitatua da, eta Hegoburuatik 3.900 km-ra (2425 milia) dago. Lurraren hego latitudeko 55º paraleloaren azpian aurkitzen den herri bakarra da. Puerto Toron 36 pertsona bizi da, INEko 2002ko erroldaren arabera, arrantzaleak eta haien familiak barne. Nazioarteko Antolamendu Hidrografikoko Itsasoen sailkapenaren arabera, Ozeano Atlantikoan dauden kostaldeak eta urak dituen Txileko herri bakarra (eta portua) da, Hornos lurmuturraren meridianoak (67° 16' W) muga zehaztuz, Suaren Lurraldetik Antartikako kontinenteraino.
Duela ehun urte, Puerto Toro Beagle kanaleko herri garrantzitsuenetarikoa zen Suaren Lurraldeko urrezko sukarraren ondorioz. Behin urrea ustiatzeko interesa igaro ondoren, Puerto Tororen garrantzia gutxitu egin zen. Gaur egun, Puerto Toro ezaguna da "centollagatik", hegoaldeko errege karramarro preziatua.
