Resistencia Argentinako ipar-ekialdeko hiria da, Chacoko probintziako hiriburua. 562 km²ko eremua du eta 2010ean 290.723 biztanle zituen[1].
Geografia
Barraqueras ibaiaren ertzean dago, Paraná ibaitik 6 km-ra, Corrientes hiriaren aurrean.

Zura, kotoia, azukre-kanabera, behi-azienda eta industria dira hiriko ekonomiaren oinarriak.
Historia
XVIII. mendearen erdialdean jesuitek San Fernando del Río Negro misioa sortu zuten (1773an utzi zuten, aita santuak jesuiten ordena ezabatu zuenean).
1878tik aurrera etorkin italiarrak heldu ziren, eta haiek egituratu zuten egungo hiri modernoa. 1884an Chaco-ko hiriburu egin zuten eta, orduan, Resistencia izena eman zioten.
