George Robert Acworth Conquest (Great Malvern, Worcestershire, 1917ko uztailaren 15a - Stanford, Kalifornia, 2015eko abuztuaren 3a) britainiar historialari eta idazlea izan zen. Batez ere Sobietar Batasunari buruz egindako lanengatik da ezaguna.

Oxfordeko Unibertsitatean ikasi zuen. 1937an urte sabatikoa izan zuen Grenoblen eta Bulgarian, eta itzuleran Britainia Handiko Alderdi Komunistarekin bat egin zuen.

Bigarren Mundu Gerraren hasieran, alderdia utzi eta armadan sartu zen. Bulgariera ikasi zuen eta Bulgariako tropekin sobietarren agindupean lotura izan zuen. Gerra amaitu ondoren, britainiarren enbaxadan Sofian egon zen.

1948tik 1956ra Erresuma Batuko Kanpo Arazoetako Ministerioan lan egin zuen, komunismoari buruzko informazioa bilduz. 1956tik aurrera, historiari eta idazketari ekin zion. Bere lan nagusia The Great Terror (Izu handia) izan zen, 1968an argitaratua. Liburua Stalinen Purga Handiari buruzko lehen ikerketa osoa izan zen.
