Biografia
Oxfordeko Unibertsitatean ikasi ondoren, Liverpool eta Bristolgo Unibertsitatetan Erdi Aroko historia irakatsi zuen. 1994an Edinburgora ailegatu eta egun bertako Unibertsitatearen ohorezko kidea da[2].
Hasieran Goi Erdi Aroko gaiak jorratu bazituen ere, Euskal Herriko historia eta Aitasantutzari buruzko bere lanak Aro Modernora zabaldu dira.
