Rōnin
Rōnin (japoniera: 浪人, "ibiltaria") Japonian aro feudalean (1185-1868) jaunik gabeko samuraiek jasotako izendapena da. Samurai batek bere jauna zendu ala bere jaunaren konfidantza edo pribilegioa galtzean zuenean jaungabea bilakatzen zen.
Bestalde, rōnin baten seme-alaba ere jaiotzez rōnina zen, betiere estatu horri uko ez eginez gero. Maiz, jaiotzez rōnina zenak bere balioa erakutsi eta klan bati leialtasuna zin egiteko irrikia zuen, benetazko samuraia bihurtzeko bidea baitzen.
Rōnin ospetsuenetako bat Miyamoto Musashi izan zen.
