SS Thistlegorm Itsaso Gorrian hondoratu zen itsasontzi bat zen.
Hondoratuta dagoen tokia oso leku polita da, 30 metroko sakonerakoa gutxi gorabehera. SS Thistlegorm Xarm el-Xeikhetik hurbil dago, Shag Rock ipar ekialdean eta Xarm el-Xeikhetik (Egipto) egun batera itsasontziz.
Merkantzia-ontzi hau, Joseph Thompson and Sons-engatik eraikia izan zen, Sunderlanden (Glasgow, Eskozia) 1940an. Britainiar armadak erabili zuen kargaontzi bezala, Bigarren Mundu Gerran. Alemaniarrek Mediterraneo itsaso guztia okupatzen zutenean, ingelesek beren ejertzitoa hornitzeko modurik seguruena, Afrika inguratzea zen eta Itsaso Gorritik igotzea.
