Silueta
Silueta[1], eta gutxi batzuetan ere ingerada[2], objektu edo pertsona batek ikustean erakusten duen inguru-lerroa da, bereziki hori bakarrik ikusten denean, bestelako ezaugarririk erakutsi gabe. Bereziki artean, marrazketan eta arte grafikoetan erabiltzen da, objektu bat sinpletasunez irudikatu edo horren zirriborro bat egin nahi denean.
Etimologia
Silueta hitza silhouette frantsesetikoa da, baina horrek Zilhoeta euskal abizena du jatorrian, zulueta abizenaren parekide lapurtarra. Historikoki, Eztebe Zilhoeta (Étienne de Silhouette) izenetik eratorria da, 1759an Frantziako finantza ministro izan zena. Aita Arnaut Zilhoeta zuen, biarriztarra. Bertan dago Zilhoeta etxea[3].
Hitz hori munduko hizkuntza askotan erabiltzen da eta euskal jatorriko hedatuenetakoa da.
