Stahlhelm-a (alemanez: stahlhelm," altzairuzko kaskoa") altzairuzko borroka-kaskoa izan zen, alemaniar armadek 1916-1992 bitartean erabili zutena. Hirugarren Reicheko soldaduek Bigarren Mundu Gerran erabili zuten biseradun modeloa da ezagunena.
Historia
Lehen Mundu Gerran herrialde guztietako armadak altzairuzko kaskoak erabiltzen hasi ziren. Alemaniako soldaduek janzten zuten pickelhaube-a, larruz egindakoa, ez zen egokia lubaki gerrarako, burua behar bezala babesten ez zuelako. Hori zela-eta, 1916tik aitzina stahlhelm-a, altzairuzko kaskoa, erabiltzen hasi ziren.[1] Harrezkero, alemaniar soldaduen bereizgarria bilakatu zen.
Bigarren Mundu Gerraren ondoren, hala Ekialdeko nola Mendebaldeko Alemaniako armadek beste diseinu batzuk ezarri zituzten, baina modelo berriei stahlhelm izena ematen jarraitu zuten. Bestalde, 1990eko hamarkadara arte, Mendebaldeko Alemaniako poliziek eta mugazainek Bigarren Mundu Gerraren garaiko stahlhelm-a erabili zuten.[2]
