Tongeren (nederlanderaz ahoskatua: ˈtɔŋərə(n), frantsesez: Tongres tɔ̃gʁ, alemanez: Tongern ˈtɔŋɐn) Belgikako iparraldeko hiria da, Flandriako Linburgo probintzian dagoena. Belgikako herririk zaharrena da, izan ere, gaur egungo mugen barruan Erromako hiriburu administratibo bakarra izan baitzen. Atuatuca Tungrorum izena zeukan, eta Tungri herria bizi zen bertan. Civitas Tungrorum barrutiko hiriburua administratiboa izan zen. Europako hiri zaharrenen sareko kidea da.[1]
