Uakari (Cacajao generoa) pitezidoen familiako zenbait tximino isatslaburren izena da.
Ezaugarriak
Neurriz txiki samarrak dira, 51-57 cm luze. Aurpegia eta buruaren aurreko aldea ilerik gabeak dituzte; lepoaldea ere ile gutxikoa.
Amazonas ibaiaren erdialdeko eskualdeetan bizi dira.
Uakari motarik ezagunenak hauek dira: uakari burubeltza (Cacajao melanocephalus), ile marroixka eta aurpegiko azala beltza duena; uakari gorria (Cacajao rubicundus), ile marroixka eta aurpegi gorria duena; eta uakari burusoila (Cacajao calvus), ile zuria edo zilar-kolorea eta aurpegi gorrixka duena.
