Veraval, Somnath izenez ere ezaguna, Indiako kostaldeko hiri bat da, Gir Somnath barrutiaren egoitza, Gujarat estatuan.
Somnath tenplua, Shiva jainko hinduari eskainitako 12 Jyotirlinga guneetako bat izateagatik duen garrantziagatik erromesaldi lekua, bertan dago. Veraval Krishna jainkoaren azken lurreko uneekin ere lotuta dago, Bhalka Tirtha hirian baitago, tradizionalki Jara ehiztariaren geziak Krishna jo zuen lekua dela uste baita.[1]
Veraval Indiako arrantza portu nagusietako bat da eta itsaski produktuak prozesatzeko eta esportatzeko gune garrantzitsua. 2011n, 153.696 biztanle zituen.[2]
