Vindolanda Britanniako erromatar castrum (erromatar kanpamendu) iraunkor bat izan zen, Hadrianoren Harresiaren zainketa ardura zuen gotorlekuetako bat. Gaur egungo Ingalaterrako ipar-ekialdeko Northumberland konderrian dago, Bardon Mill udalerritik hurbil. 1973an bere hondakinetan Vindolandako oholtxoak topatu ziren[1].
2011n Britainiar Museoak oholtxo hauetako batzuk Vindolandako Museoari maileguan laga zizkion.
Euskaldunen presentzia
Erromako Armadaren soldaduen artean, Vindolandan euskaldunen presentzia ere dokumentatu da. Zehatzago esanda, zaldun barduloez osatutako unitatearen egoitza izan zen.[2]
