XLIFF
XLIFF formatua (XML Localisation Interchange File Format) itzulpen-memoriak trukatzeko erabiltzen den formatua da. Zenbait software enpresa handik (Novell, Oracle, Sun, IBM...) sustatutako formatua da. XLIFF OASIS barruan sartuta dago 2002. urtetik. XLIFFek hizkuntza ezberdinetan dauden testu-zatiak gordetzen ditu XML formatuan, gero berrerabili ahal izateko itzulpen berriak egiten direnean.
Formatua
XLIFFen formatua TMX formatuan inspiratuta dago. Etiketarik garrantzitsuenak hurrengoak dira:
- <trans-unit> (translation unit) -> itzulpen-unitate bakoitza gordetzen du, hizkuntza bietarako
- <source> -> sorburu edo jatorrizko hizkuntzan dagoen testua gordetzen du
- <target> -> helburu-hizkuntzan dagoen testua gordetzen du
- <alt-trans> -> beste hizkuntza batzuetarako itzulpenak gordetzen ditu
