Yinpterochiroptera Chiropteraren banaketa egiteko proposatutako subordena bat da, lehenago Pteropodidae eta mikrosaguzar gisa ezagutzen ziren hiru familia taldekatzeko: Rhinopomatidae, Rhinolophidae eta Megadermatidae. Taxoi hau genetika molekularrean oinarrituta dago, baina oraindik ikerket gehiago egin beharko dira, bai molekularrak bai eta kladistikoak guztiz finkatzeko.
Izenak Pteropodidae eta Yinochiroptera hitzak batzen ditu, 1984an Karl F. Koopmanek saguzar txikien famili batzuentzat proposatutako izena.[1]
