Zonulina
Zonulina digestio-aparatuan eta bereziki hesteetan jarduten duen proteina da, markatzaile gisa hainbat gaixotasunen diagnostikoan (gaitz autoimmuneak, minbizia...) bilatzen dena. 2000. urtean aurkitu zuen Alessio Fasano ikerlari italiarrak.
Zonulinak zeregin oso garrantzitsua betetzen du heste-iragazkortasunean, heste-hormaren zeluletako lotura estuak lasaitzen dituelako. Ondorioz, elikagaien igarotzea errazten du, hesteetatik odolera pasatzen diren substantzien mugimendua proteina honen jarduerapean dago hein handi batean.
Zonulinaren gehiegizko jarduerak heste-iragazkortasunaren areagotzea eragiten du. Horrek ondorio gaiztoak ekar ditzake, odolera pasatu behar ez liratekeen makromolekulak pasatu daitezkeelako, eta horrek gaixotasun autoimmuneak, infekzioak eta minbizi mota batzuk eragin ditzake[1] [2]
