Calimaya es un belediye del Estado de Meksiko. La kavesera es la sivdad de Calimaya de Díaz.
Etimolojia
Calimaya, en lingua aborijinala sinyifika Lugar ande ay munchas kazas, el orijen del biervo en lingua nahuatl es Calli (kaza) i -mayan (lugar ande abunda), deriva de una aglutinasion de palavras.
Jeografia
Calimaya topa al sentro del estado, konta kon una superfisie de 101,19 km² de territorio. La kavesera del belediye es Calimaya de Díaz i se topa al sud kon Tenango del Valle, Chiautla i Tezoyuca, kolinda al norte kon Metepec, al oeste kolinda kon el belediyes de Toluca, al este kon Mexicaltzingo.[1]
