La palavra WEB (del ingles: red, maya, telaranya [1]) puede referirse a:
- La Web (con el determinante "La"), el sistema de dokumentos (o webs) interkonektados por enlasos de hiperteksto, ke se ejekutan en Internet.
- Una pajina web: dokumento o fuente de informasion, jeneralmente en formato HTML y ke puede kontener iperenlasos a otras pájinas web.
- Dicha pájina web, podrá ser aksesivel desde un dispositivo fisiko, una intranet, o Internet. Un ejemplo es: https://web.archive.org/web/20090916222731/http://arcopay.info/
- Un sitio web, o red informatika[2] (en ingles: «website»), ke es un kondjunto de pájinas web, típikamente komunes a un dominio o subdominio en la World Wide Web en Internet. Un ejemplo es: https://web.archive.org/web/20090916222731/http://arcopay.info/
- Un servidor web, un programa ke implementa el protokolo HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol) para transferir lo ke yamamos ipertekstos, pájinas web o pájinas HTML (hypertext markup language).
- Endemas se le da este nomvre, al komputer ke ejekuta este programa.
- Web 2.0, termino akunyado por Tim O'Reilly[3] en 2004 para referirse a una segunda jenerasion de Web vasada en komunidades de uzuarios y una gama espesial de servisios, komo las redes sosiales, los vlogs, los wikis o las folksonomias, ke fomentan la kolavorasion y el intertrokamyénto pishín de informasiyon entre los uzuarios.
