പഴയ തിരുവിതാംകൂറിലെ നാഗർകോവിലിൽ ജൂലൈ 15 നു ജനിച്ച പിള്ള മദ്രാസ് സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നു ബിരുദവും തുംകൂർ,ഹാവാർഡ്,പുനെ സർവ്വകലാശാലകളിൽ നിന്നു ഉയർന്ന ബിരുദങ്ങളും കരസ്ഥമാക്കി.[ 3]
